Dyna Robotics

Dyna Robotics builds general-purpose robots for commercial environments, powered by a proprietary embodied AI foundation model. Their flagship system, DYNA-1, uses dual robotic arms on a compact wheeled base and is already running production shifts at hotels, restaurants, laundromats, and gyms — up to 16 hours a day. In August 2026 they unveiled DYNA-2, a "World-Action Model" pre-trained on over one million hours of egocentric human video, enabling robots to learn new tasks with minimal fine-tuning and deliver zero-shot production-level performance across new sites. The company's core claim: a single-weight foundation model that generalizes across varied environments without task-specific retraining. Customers are businesses with repetitive, physical labor needs — hospitality, food service, light manufacturing. Founded in 2024 by Lindon Gao and York Yang (who previously sold Caper AI for $350M) and Jason Ma, a former DeepMind research scientist. Headquartered in Redwood City, CA.
