Figure

Figure AI builds general-purpose humanoid robots — human-shaped machines designed to perform physical labor in warehouses, factories, and eventually homes. Their flagship robot, Figure 03, runs on Helix, an in-house vision-language-action neural network that lets the robot perceive its environment, understand natural-language instructions, and execute physical tasks without being hard-programmed for each one. Figure develops the full stack: hardware (actuators, hands, charging), AI (Helix model trained on real-world task data), and manufacturing (BotQ, their own in-house production facility in San Jose). Robots are deployed to enterprise customers — BMW is the marquee anchor — under what appears to be a robots-as-a-service model, with real-world deployment data continuously fed back to improve Helix. The company is simultaneously scaling BotQ output, expanding international data collection operations, and building out commercial site teams across the US. Target buyers are manufacturers and logistics operators facing labor shortages or unsafe working conditions.
