Keenable builds and operates an independent web search index — currently over 100 billion documents — designed specifically for AI models and autonomous agents, not human browsers. Traditional search infrastructure (Google, Bing) was engineered for occasional human queries returning ten blue links; AI agents run continuous, high-frequency, low-latency queries that make standard search APIs prohibitively expensive and poorly matched. Keenable solves both problems: it sells a Search API that returns clean, model-ready content at $1 per 1,000 calls (a fraction of competitor pricing), a "Time Machine" endpoint for point-in-time historical web queries, and an MCP interface for direct integration into agent frameworks. A forthcoming Web Query Language will let AI systems synthesize answers across multiple sources when no single document suffices. Buyers are AI labs, model builders, and inference providers that need cheap, live web grounding in production. Founded in 2025 by Andrey Styskin (ex-head of Yandex search, AI, and cloud) and Matthias Petri (ex-Amazon AGI retrieval research), the company is San Francisco-based and publicly launched in August 2026.
