Senra Systems makes electrical wire harnesses for aerospace and defense platforms — the bundles of wires that route power and data through aircraft, rockets, satellites, and defense systems. The problem it's solving: wire harness manufacturing has barely changed since the Cold War. Factories still use wooden pegboards, 600-page PDFs, and purely manual assembly, creating six-month lead times and chronic supply-chain bottlenecks. Senra's answer is its proprietary software platform, Amp, which digitizes the entire workflow — engineering design, quoting, supply-chain management, production planning, and shop-floor execution — into one system. Technicians are guided through assembly in real time, reducing dependence on individual craftsmanship and dramatically compressing lead times (reportedly from six months to two weeks). The company owns manufacturing end-to-end: it designs, builds, tests, and ships harnesses from its own facilities. Founded in 2023 by former SpaceX engineers Jordan Black and Benjamin Shanahan, Senra operates two factories in Southern California and serves customers including Anduril, L3Harris, and Northrop Grumman. It is targeting 10,000 harnesses per month by 2027, up from ~1,000 today.
