Sycamore (Sycamore Labs) is building the governance and control layer that lets large enterprises safely deploy autonomous AI agents at scale. The core problem it solves is "operational gravity": AI agents that work in demos fail to reach production because companies lack a centralized system to enforce policies, security boundaries, and auditability across many agents at once. Sycamore's platform covers the full agent lifecycle — discover, build, deploy, observe, and evolve — inside a governed, security-enforced environment. Agents start under heavy oversight and earn greater autonomy as they prove reliable (progressive trust). Workers direct agents in plain English; the platform generates the apps and integrations needed to execute. Agents accumulate institutional knowledge as they operate, creating a compounding data flywheel. Early customers are Fortune 500 companies across retail, financial services, insurance, and semiconductor/infrastructure. The company was founded in fall 2025 by Sri Viswanath, former CTO of Atlassian and ex-partner at Coatue.
